opening reception: Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Due to the great success of the exhibition, Pommery has decided to prolong it UNTIL THE END OF APRIL 2009 !!!
Organized by the French art magazine Beaux Arts, "L'art en Europe" will present a selection of the best young European artists, chosen by the editors-in-chief of the main contemporary art magazines published in Europe.
"L'Art en Europe" will take place from June 12 to December 31, 2008 at Domaine Pommery, a major champagne producer in Reims (45 minutes from Paris), which organizes art contemporary exhibitions since 5 years (the last one, "L'emprise du lieu," was curated by French artist Daniel Buren in 2007).
For the fifth consecutive year and as part of the European cultural season, Experience Pommery #5: L'art en Europe will present a selection of the best young European artists. This year the event is organized by the French art magazine Beaux Arts editors-in-chief Fabrice Bousteau, who asked the main contemporary art magazines published in Europe to select two of the best young artists from their countries. - to get an idea of the exhibition site and of the last exhibition, you can visit the website of the Domaine Pommery .
